Caramelized Banana Oatmeal
My current obsession is my oatmeal. I like to blend the oats and then I don’t measure anything so I just simmer it with water and milk, add a pinch of salt, maple syrup or honey, and last but not least I separately caramelized bananas and top it off with cinnamon!

Today I caramelized the whole banana
These ones were sooo good as well and the banana wasn’t too ripe so it wasn’t overly sweet! -
Persian Feast
Once again for a school project I made some delicious food. This time I made Gormeh Sabzi, Sabzi Polo, Shirazi Salad, and a Persian Tea Cake

Khoresh-e Ghormeh Sabzi

Sabzi Polo- the fluffy rice is very good and then at the bottom there’s crispy bits and it looks burnt but omg it was perfect for me flavor wise and texturally.
Shirazi Salad- super refreshing the mint adds such a nice fresh taste, and all the vegetables balance each-other out so they’re not overpowering one another.
Persian Tea Cake- Sooo good the cardamom flavor is amazing literally life changing. Next time I make it I’ll decorate it with almonds and pistachios on top for some crunchy texture. -
Music Recommendations
This album makes me feel like i’m laying on the beach drinking out of a fresh coconut.

Meditation
This year a big goal of mine is to make meditating a daily habit. In order to do this I have to find videos that genuinely relax me and are enjoyable. I have two videos that I use and i’m going to share them with you! The reason I really love these two is because of the use of affirmations in them. I love repeating affirming words it just makes me visualize and get excited for the day or even my future.

Charley’s Food & Travel Blog
Hello there!
My name is Charley and I am currently in my junior year of high school i’ve been wanting to create a blog for a while now so here we are!
I come from a very well traveled family I was born in the UK, then we moved to Egypt, then Scotland, Australia, India, and now were in the USA. I feel very privileged to have experienced this lifestyle of traveling and living in different cultural environments as a young adult/teenager. I will say its caused me to have some little crisis’s about what I call home since we were always moving around, but i’m very grateful despite that!
It is currently 2023 and I have many goals and hobbies I want to try out this year! I am going to utilize this blog to share my progress & lifestyle/habits i’ve found that are helpful.
See you soon with another post my crumbs!
